Si Seulement

I used to start my blog post with a French title but ending up with nothing to do with the title. That’s my style which I do enjoy.

It has been over four years since my first blog opened. Later new blogs were created with only a few posts and sometimes comments came but I seldom replied. I hate the way I can not stick to especially in writing. However, I keep writing the blog in Sina which is http://blog.sina.com.cn/u/1264100711.

I wrote everyday life which is envied by a lot of people. Studying, travelling, and cooking are most ordinary basics and how come I never get bored with ? It’s been four months here in Edinburgh and I feel like I’m not only studying Msc in TESOL, but also Msc in cooking.

I love to surprise my friends by bringing a DIY cake to their birthday parties.  It’s really fulfilling when they told me how much  they enjoyed the chocolate banana cakes, chocolate pineapple cakes and almond cookies.

December and January are tough times for all of us. So many assignments piles up and I made no plans for Christmas holiday but writing essays. When I am in the course of writing the last 1500, it seems the 14000 assignments turned my favourite writing into the last thing I would like to do in this world. Fortunately, I get recovered from it and soon found the way back into life. My normal life came back and new resolutions emerged.

I know I can handle all this and I can not stop telling myself I came here to be a better one.

In July last year, a friend told me that overseas life changes a person. I feel four months here changed me a lot. So happy that life here satisfies me.

About Burns’ day.

Robert Burns. I missed the collection of his poetry promoted by The Scotsman. Last Sunday I should have been able to buy it but…

I learned his poems back in my English literature class but can remember nothing except the poem A Red Red Rose.

How I wish to reread the poems.

Maybe after all these assignments finishes I should find time to do that.

PS: Saturday is a nice day because of the trip to St Andrews.
